Recording Session 19th January 2006Dear Friend Thank you for your interest in singing in a session for one of my tracks on Thursday 19th January 2006. General Information and Session detailsI am in the process of recording my first solo album entitled "and back to me..." due for release in the spring of 2006. One of my tracks called "The last time" really lends itself to having a Gospel style choir for the backing Vocals. The studio is booked for 6pm on Thursday 19th January 2006. I will be producing and directing the session with assistance from Singing Coach Helen Astrid who some of you will already now. . Mp3's of the track and harmony's are at the end of this page. On arrival you will be asked to fill out your details and sign an artist release form, this is standard for most sessions. We will then start with a vocal warm up with Helen directing and then we will start rehearsing to start recording as soon as possible. If you feel you have to cancel the please let Helen or myself know as soon as possible, if you are going to be late or are held up on the day please call to let me know. LyricsThe complete lyrics of the song are not really required for the session only the backing vocal elements. I have not Included the ooh's and Aah's. We will be recording this many times with different harmony's with clapping and without. The more takes I have the better as I t will give me more choice to edit.
